Introducing Our Crochet Blog

Hello and welcome to The Crochet Collective!

We are a small team of students who created this business because of our love of crochet and a desire to share this with others. We have to credit the wonderful Mrs Schofield for starting us off crocheting hats for the homeless and blankets for vulnerable babies, and we haven't stopped since. Our mission is to bring the unique and ethical charm of crochet fashion into the mainstream, not only by selling the clothes that we hand-make but also by encouraging others to try taking up crochet too. Whether you come to crochet through us, from the catwalk, or with a return to your roots and grandparents, its a hobby that we want to share our love for.

When fast fashion is more and more readily available, it means such a lot that people are following our own very much handmade brand of slow fashion, fuelled by too much TV, a lot of podcasts and a couple of lockdowns. With this blog we want to share some of our own inspirations and passions, some details of the amazing women that our tops are named after, and hopefully document the journey of our business and progress, as the crochet community grows. Watch this space!
